DO GOOD WORKS KEEP YOU SAVED?
If good works keep you saved then I have questions for you:
1. What are the particular good works that keep us saved? And where do we find them in scripture?
2. How often are these works required?
3. How do you know you did the right ones and enough of them?
4. Can someone make a death bed confession, not doing any works and still get saved?
Why many people have a problem with a salvation that does not require works to BE saved or to STAY saved, is because they underestimate God's grace and they overestimate their works. If you ever read the book of I Cor. you will see they did many sinful works. But yet Jesus through Paul calls them, "saints", "brethren", "laborer's together”, “sanctified”, "washed" and “justified”. Still sinning and yet still saved. Thank you Lord for your abounding grace.
Should we do good works and try to live a holy life in Christ, once we are saved? ABSOLUTELY.
1Cor 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 1Cor 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. Yes, these were the sinners at Corinth.
1Cor 3:15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. See, still saved. Good works don’t save us, keep us saved or prove we are saved. They are not a requirement but a privilege and a blessing to do and be rewarded for at the judgment seat of Christ.

Eph 2:9 KJV Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Eph 2:10 KJV For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
