Is the Rapture in John 14?

John 14 cannot be about the rapture.  John did not know about the rapture and it cannot be proven from the John 14 passage.  But it can be proven that the rapture was a mystery and that the body of Christ started with Paul and not with John.  

1.  The body of Christ did not and could not start BEFORE the only one who speaks of the body of Christ comes on the scene, that being Paul.

1Tim 1:16 KJV   Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting. 

Col 1:24 KJV   Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:
Col 1:25 KJV   Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;
Col 1:26 KJV   Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
Col 1:27 KJV   To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

2.  The "rapture" is a mystery only Paul shares.  If the rapture was a mystery, then it was NOT known by the 12 and Jesus never spoke of the mystery nor the body of Christ during His earthly ministry for which the rapture is for.

1Cor 15:51 KJV   Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

3.  The rapture takes US to Heaven, not to dwell on the earth as promised to Israel.

BODY OF CHRIST
2Cor 5:1 KJV   For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

ISRAEL
Jer 7:7 KJV   Then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever.
Matt 6:10 KJV   Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 

4.  The gospel that saves a person and puts them into the body of Christ was a mystery.
Rom 16:25 KJV   Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,

If the gospel was a mystery to get someone into the Body of Christ then getting into the body of Christ is part of that mystery, then John could not have known it nor spoken about it.  Impossible!
