The KJB

The King James Bible

Do you believe there is a perfect, pure, preserved word of God?  You know, the one that God promised He would preserve?   Matt 24:35  Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

When I discuss bible translations I do not discuss the translators, the manuscripts, or even the Greek.   This is because, I believe God when He said He would keep his word forever.  It all starts with faith in God and His word.  What I would discuss, is what the words mean and if they are consistent with God’s progressive revelation rightly divided throughout the ages.  Does it magnify the Lord Jesus Christ and His deity, and does it stay consistently accurate throughout all scripture?   Every other version, other than the KJB has verses in it that are doctrinally inconsistent within itself.  As well as doctrinal errors.   You, would also see this if you read and study these other versions.  Keep in mind that to get a copyright on a new bible version there has to be changes significant enough to warrant this new copyright, so money can be made.  If these changes were just 10% you would not notice these changes unless you were really looking for them or comparing them to the KJB at the same time.   And of this 10% change maybe only 30% of those changes actually change the meaning and reading of the context.  Again, not enough to notice unless you are studying and comparing them to the true word of God, the KJB.  But just 3% of 788,258 is 26,347 words.  That’s a lot of differences.

People say, “you can use any of these bible versions because they are ALL God’s word”.  But they will never claim there is a perfect word of God that God promised to preserve.  Or that people at all times believe there was a perfect bible in history that people could get their hands on.   But if you were to do an unbiased study you will find that these bible versions say the opposite in many passages.  Opposites are not the same and would make it impossible for two opposites to be God’s word.   The ESV is a terrible attempt to be God’s word, as are the NIV, NKJV, NASV, ASV, etc…  If you think there is no perfect word of God on the planet today, think about this: God can create the Universe, all of nature, people, animals, plants, the human eye ball and trillions of stars, but can’t keep His promise to put the right words on a page?  Really?

People play the older manuscript or a better rendering game.  Of course, when something is not used it will last longer.  That of course assumes those manuscripts are older, and who’s to say they are?  And when a word is not understood, why not just change it?  When this is done, they are relying on man to preserve God’s word and not God himself.

God is not limited to Greek, manuscripts or translators.  That is all of man.  God created language.  God Himself said, He would preserve His word, so it has to be somewhere.  Where is it for you, if you believe the bible to be true?  It’s okay if you think it is some other version.  You at least then, take God at His word.  We would just disagree on which one it is.

Ps 138:2  I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

Ps 12:6  The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

Ps 12:7  Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

Isa 40:8  The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.
